China imposed a 125% tariff on American Goods

“The successive imposition of excessively high tariffs on China by the US has become nothing more than a numbers game, with no real economic significance. It merely further exposes the US practice of weaponizing tariffs as a tool of bullying and coercion, turning itself into a joke,” a person at China’s commerce ministry said. Also, they’ve imposed a 125% tariff on American goods. The trade war is heating up a little bit, but amidst this only people are paying the price.

Companies started working on Model Context Protocol (MCP) which will have an impact on our lives

Companies like Microsoft & Google are working on MCP which is an open protocol designed to connect LLMs with external tools and data sources. Anthropic has been working on this technology since late 2024. So Microsoft has partnered with Anthropic for development and Google has said that it will be using Anthropic’s MCP into Gemini which favours well in AI agentic era.
