WTF is happening to Tesla?

You might’ve heard about what is happening with Tesla, people burning Tesla cars, destroying dealerships, and Tesla stock being in all red; but what is the reason behind this anger of so many people against that one man Elon Musk?

So, you see Elon Musk’s Tesla is one of the most loved cars and it was projected to make Musk the world’s first trillionaire. He then acquired the status of first buddy and future official cleaver-of-government to now-President Donald Trump which he might’ve thought would improve Tesla’s business after the elections.

Now, Tesla has not launched any changes to the cars and it is relatively old with very few updates staying in a constantly updating industry. Cybertruck also did not go as planned. Only a fraction of 1 million reservation holders bought it. Pre-owned Tesla’s price has also depreciated a lot. Also, other EV manufacturers like BYD have introduced fast charging for EVs which can charge for 250 miles of range in just five minutes. Few companies have already got to Level 3 self-driving, but Tesla is yet to be approved for Self-Driving in China. Anyway the point is business is not going so well.

He is leading the Department of Government Efficiency(DOGE) and because of that he is very much distracted from his companies, leading to reduced users in X, multiple delays, fires, and explosions in SpaceX. For this Department of Government Efficiency, he has fired many people and cut many deals with many agencies that just came back in the form of riots and hate. This made people hate Musk and that’s not all.

During a political event, he made the above salute which many of them considered a Nazi salute. After that Tesla sales dropped down 76 percent in Germany. Tesla stock has fallen more than 50 % since December to $248 per share as of now. “We struggle to think of anything analogous in the history of the automotive industry, in which a brand has lost so much value so quickly,” JPMorgan said in a recent analyst note. Musk is even begging people not to sell their Tesla stock.

This is one of the bad times for Elon. Let’s see what happens in the future.
